Levi's Boomtown collection launch party

The finest #menswear store in Manchester and quite possibly the north of England - OiPolloi, hosted a party to coincide with the release of Levi's Boomtown collection. The capsule collection takes inspiration from the 60's and 70's Detroit soul and funk era. Two pieces caught my eye in particular, the bowling style long sleeve knit in mustard, think more Goodfellas than Homer Simpson, and the chords were pretty slick too, slim cut in bold hues. All pieces have a modern silhouette and an update on materials with a nod to the Boomtown era. Really refreshing from Levi's to create a collection with a different historical twist (as opposed to heritage denim stories that everyone with a denim collection seems to be banging on about)

The night started at 8 in store, naturally my friends and I were late. We managed to take a few photos whilst simultaneously drinking and eating everything in site before heading to 2022NQ for a FREE BAR (LEVIS KNOW WADDUP THO)

Like true dickheads we made a run for these as opposed to speaking to the people in store.

Chad chatting shit about something. Probably beard related.

Ate everything like the true fat prick I am (THIS IS WHY DOLCE AND GABBANA UNDERWEAR WILL NEVER LOOK GOOD ON ME)

Kurt in awe of the beautifully hand stitched goodness. Dem boots tho.

Yours truly trying to appreciate beer. Not a fan.

Han Kjøbenhavn are Danish and like Danish pastries are something you want.

I like my fizzy sugary beverages like my suits, Italian.

A few photos courtesy of the OiPolloi photographers

Pete in his new Pigaelle hat. Believe it's 100% (one hunned) mohair. Believe it's from Paris.

Big up the company that provided the drinks and pizza. It was banging.

Kurt loves a Japanese Gore-Tex shell (who dosen't? Oh yeah relaly fit girls, they think they look shit)

Price point like woah

Chad really enjoying that issue of Inventory

Thank you to OiPolloi, Levi's and whomever paid the bar tab.
