MARK GONZALEZ x HARE JP
Hare Japan is a Japanese brand whose website I peruse quite often. I've even worked out which little strings of Japanese mean what. It didn't take me too long because I spend a few hours a month on there. But what a surprise I came across when I found that they had either obtained a license for or had launched a collaboration with Mark Gonzalez. For those that are scratching their heads and are thinking 'who' N.B. Mark Gonzalez is an o.g. skater from day that wore Supreme before it turned in to the Streetwear style dictator that it now is. The t-shirt's are dope too - check them out. Go on. They're going for ¥ 6,372. I think that that is probably about the £40 mark plus whatever you would have to pay to get it from Japan via a proxy. Then you'd probably have to luck out with customs so all told it could go up to around the £80 if you were severely unlucky. It's not an £80. There are no £80 t shirts.

PURCHASED: RT Japan Blazer
A few weeks ago I bought a tasty little three button blazer by a brand I'd never heard of called RT Japan. Apparently it's a Japanese influenced brand that was started by a French man - a Mr Ramdane Touhami - in Japan. Dig a little deeper and you find that he's a fucking weirdo. Sort of. Well, his Wikipedia entry says that he ran a concept store with Marc Jacobs and Jeremy Scott for less than a year in Paris. His website says that RT and Resistance were two brands, RT came first, that were about resisting fashion. The quote that introduces the two lines includes him saying that they hired non-professional sales staff. How? How do you hire non-professional sales staff? Are they late all the time with dirty fingernails and a sloppy appearance or did they have no prior experience? Who knows, or even gives a shit. Anyway, this is how I wore this blazer when I went back to Derby for a weekend:
You have to excuse the scowling because it was way too sunny. The In-N-Out Burger tee I got on a family holiday in 2007. Looks as good as a double double but I've never actually tried to eat it so I can't tell you if it tastes as nice. In fact, don't ever try to eat t-shirts.
