Stone Island are making me want to buy a coat, for spring summer 2014.

As a marketing student, you'd think I be astute to marketing bull$hit. I'm not, if anything, I entertain it.

Case in hand: buying a coat for summertime.

Stone Island have created another masterpiece that I probably won't be able to buy due to my dire lack of funds, I honestly believe this may be the perfect coat. It's waterproof, has breathable taped seams, and has a hood to keep my soft hair dry and comes in lavender.

It reminds me of this old photo from the Stone Island archives.

This beauty is available to buy here for 410 euros, I'm unsure how much that equates to in British Pounds Sterling as I do not work in Le Beaura De Change.

Pigalle x Nike collaboration

Pigalle is one of those category defying street wear brands; taking inspiration from couture Parisian fashion, along with street style and urban culture. Their style is similar to their French neighbour APC, but slightly more niche than their American counterpart Supreme.

I was first put on to the brand by watching ASAP Rocky's music video for Goldie:

Pigalle have recently announced that they are collaborating with Nike on a limited edition capsule collection, comprising of accessories, shorts, basketball jerseys and 2 pairs of trainers - Air Force 1 mid and Air Force 1 low. Stephen Ashpoole, Pigalle designer is a massive basketball fan- hence the basketball themed collection.

When I first heard of the colab, I was expecting something abit more French, the collection is really well put together and nods to street style although, I feel that if they utilised the vast array of Nike lifestyle/running products (Windrunners, Air Max, tracksuits, new Lunar and Flyknit technology) they may have been able to create a wider appealing collection, but maybe that's the whole point, to keep the collection for a devout few?

Check the collection here and here
